National Rosacea Society Celebrates 30 Years

The National Rosacea Society (NRS) marks its 30th anniversary in 2022. The past three decades have seen tremendous progress toward fulfilling our mission of improving the lives of people with rosacea through awareness, education and support of medical research.

“Thanks to the efforts of the NRS, its members and researchers studying on the disease, rosacea is both more recognized and better understood than ever before,” said Andrew Huff, executive director of the NRS.

Persistent Facial Redness is the Most Common and Bothersome Sign of Rosacea, Survey Finds

The great majority of rosacea patients have experienced persistent facial redness, and most of them report it is the most frequently bothersome sign they face, according to a recent NRS survey on rosacea redness sponsored by EPI Health. Furthermore, two-thirds reported experiencing flare-ups more than once a week.
