Get the NRS Seal of Acceptance for Your Product

NRS Seal of AcceptanceSensitive and easily irritated skin is a common issue for people with rosacea, a chronic disorder affecting more than 16 million Americans and 415 million people worldwide. In NRS surveys, 92% of rosacea sufferers reported burning, stinging or itching skin; 66% named certain skin care or cosmetic products as triggers for rosacea signs and symptoms; and 84% were “very interested” in more guidance on skin care.

The NRS is now launching a Seal of Acceptance program to identify gentle skin care and cosmetic products that may be suitable for people with rosacea.

Criteria for Acceptance

  • damaged skin barrier function

  • unwanted neurosensory stimulation (burning, itching)
